| 説明 | Although it's a bit of an anachronism to park a Toyota in a War of 1812 encampment, the wood strip canoe would prove useful in the upcoming naval battle reenactment.From August 6 to August 11, 2019, the historic site of Discovery Harbour in Penetanguishene, Ontario hosted a War of 1812 reenactment of the fictional Battle of Georgian Bay. This event was a Grand Tactical and had over 700 costumed reenactors, along with suttlers (merchants) and firing displays. The reenactment was held in conjunction with the Ontario Tall Ship Challenge based in neighboring Midland. Here is a photo of camp life from August 9, while the camp was peaceful before the evening’s reenactment battle. |
