| 説明 | Farm workers cottage, including garden walls and gate-pier at road and entrancefronts. Datestones 1929 and initials P.D. Killas rubble walls. Delabole slate rooflaid in diminishing courses and with sprocketted eaves. Large central rubble axialstack.Plan: Unaltered rectangular plan with 3 rooms along the garden front: parlour onthe left with small room behind; scullery in the middle with entrance and stair hallbehind, full depth kitchen/living room on the right and pantry in single storey wingset back clasping rear right-hand corner.Exterior: 2 storeys with bedrooms mostly within roof space and lit by gable endwindows and dressed granite dormers at front and rear. Symmetrical 3 window southgarden front with square central window opening and taller flanking window openingsFlush granite sills and slate voussoirs to cambered arches. Original horned sasheswith glazing bars. Central lead-roofed dated dormer is segmentally headed, and hascoping with ball finial (similar dormer at rear to light stair). Left-hand gable end(facing road) is symmetrical and has integral battered buttresses with dressedgranite weatherings at either side of the ground floor. 2 ground floor windows andone window central to gable. The openings have deeply set reveals and the flushgranite sills have rounded corners.
