| 説明 | Dutch / EnglishDordrechts museum,7 december 2019 t/m 12 april 2020 Voor het eerst in vijftig jaar toonde het Dordrechts Museum zijn uitgebreide modecollectie. Van een zeldzame 18de-eeuwse Japonsche rok (rock - red.), een opvallende 19de-eeuwse Schotse ruit japon tot een flapper dress uit de jaren ’20. Een selectie van 50 topstukken laat de belangrijkste silhouetten van 150 jaar mode zien van de 18e tot en met de 20e eeuw. De tentoonstelling Slow Fashion toonde op twee locaties hoe onze voorouders zorgvuldig omgingen met hun kleding, bewust en duurzaam. Kleding werd gekoesterd en hergebruikt. Dat maakt historische kledingstukken perfecte conversation pieces om het gesprek over duurzame mode op gang te brengen. From a rare 18th-century Japonese rock, A striking 19th-century Scottish diamond dress to a flapper dress from the 1920s. A selection of 50 masterpieces shows the most important silhouettes of 150 years of fashion from the 18th to the 20th century. The Slow Fashion exhibition showed at two locations how our ancestors handled their clothing carefully, consciously and sustainably. Clothing was cherished and reused. This makes historical garments perfect conversation pieces to start the conversation about sustainable fashion.
