| 説明 | Jim Brady was at one time the only man working on the Lutyens designed RC Cathedral in Liverpool. The outbreak of WW2 meant all the older men got called up. They never built the original design, it would have been bigger than St Peters in Rome, and finally erected a super-modern concrete version. However they allowed us to bury his ashes in the priests garden (in a pottery container with dancing women on it) and place a bench there. This year we renovated the bench and finally it was returned with all the pomp we could find.Photographs by Redscouse |
