| 説明 | Song dynasty (960-1271).Named Yuan Zhen, Zhao Ding was from Jie Zhou Wen Xi (now Shanxi Province) in Wen Xi City. When Song Gao Zhong was the emperor, Zhao Ding was elected Prime Minister twice. He dealt with affairs of state in an intelligent and creative way. The South Song Dynasty was the most prosperous in China during this period. Zhao Ding tried his best to recommend Yue Fei as the Commander-In-Chief to fight against the Jin. His reputation was enhanced due to this action, and he was regarded as the best Prime Minister ("Nan Song Shou Xiang, Shou Tui Zhao Ding") in the South Song Dynasty.Because Zhao Ding was unable to reconcile with Qin Kui, he was slandered by him and exiled to Ji Yan Jun (now called Sanya City) in 1144. He was starved by Qin Kui and died in 1147. Everyone in China heard of this tragedy and was very sad "Tian Xia Wen Er Bei Zhi". He was respected by the people of Hainan and his reputation remained very high here. |
