| 説明 | The shrine is on th left of the rock with the carving, you can see a shelf cut in to place offerings on and a grove cut above that to take a support for a roof (allegedly). Another interpretation for the chiselled stuff is that a young farmer took his hammer & chisel up there and hid until the maid had finished milking the cows, which he was meant to do (you can see the farm from here). That's from the 95 yr old bloke who went to school with him. |
