説明PoznańWLs40 and WLs50 - (marking station Ld1) - Polish narrow gauge locomotives at the track width of 600 mm, intended for mining, industry and construction. The WLs40 locomotive was developed by the Technical Office of the Locomotive Factory in Chrzanów 1950 in Fablok in Chrzanów, based on the documentation of the 1DK locomotive that was produced there before the war (being the construction of the German company Deutz), as a version of the WLs40 locomotive for a wider track. The drive is a diesel engine S64L rated power of 40 hp (peak power was 44 hp) produced in Andrychow, combined with a four-speed gearbox, obtained from the license of the German transmission Deutz. The wheel drive was transferred by means of a blind shaft with Hall cranks and trusses. The bodywork was very different - thanks to the longer wheelbase, the locomotive was shorter, but wider and longer, with a larger and higher driver's cab. The prototype and the first locomotives were built in 1951 in the industrial building factory in Warsaw, after which the series production was transferred to ZNTK Poznań, where 883 units were built in the years 1952-1960. From 1957 to 1975 an improved version was produced with a more efficient and more powerful 50 HP S324HL engine, designated as WLs50 [a]. 1090 WLs50 locomotives were built. Beginning in the 1980s some locomotives of this series were modernized. The extensive derivatives were 2WLs40 and 2WLs50 locomotives for 750-785 mm wide track.Model 2WLs40 was produced in the years 1954-1960, after which it was replaced by 2WLs50. It differed in a more efficient and powerful 50 HP S324HL engine (comparable to the WLs50 locomotive) and was produced in 1964-1975.Locomotives were produced in ZNTK Poznań, where 47 2WLs40 and 153 copies of 2WLs50 were built. The basic model was a locomotive for a 750 mm wide track, but it was also built for a 785 mm wide track, depending on the orders.WLs40/50 locomotives were mainly used on industrial railways, brick factories, mines, sugar factories and other factories, less frequently on forest railways. Few (10 WLs40 and 10 WLs50) were used by PKP, where they received numbers in the Ld1 series, which indicate dual-axis diesel and mechanical gear locomotives. A small amount was used by the Polish army.In addition to use in Poland, 12 WLs40 (for North Korea) and 4 for Spain were built for export. Several locomotives were built for a 900 mm track (of which 6 working on a park railroad at WPKiW in Chorzów). Serial numbers were given alternately with WLs40 / 50 locomotives. These locomotives were mainly used on industrial railways - mainly in mines and sugar factories. They were not used with PKP due to insufficient power. The Park Railway Maltanka (Polish: Kolejka Parkowa Maltanka, sometimes abbreviated to Maltanka) is a 600 mm (1 ft 11 5⁄8 in) narrow gauge railway located in Poznań. It is 3.85 kilometres (2.4 mi) long and is owned by Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne w Poznaniu Sp. z o.o. (English: Public Transport Company in Poznań Ltd.). The line connects Rondo Śródka (Śródka Roundabout) and New Zoo transporting around 200.000 passengers annually. The first 600 mm narrow gauge railway, called the Harcerska Kolejka Dziecięca (English: Scout Children Railway) in Poznań, was built in 1956 and was operated by Polish Scouting Association. This 1.5-kilometre long route connected Ogród Jordanowski and Łęgi Dębińskie (English: Dębina Meadow). During construction of Hetmańska Str, part of second road ring of Poznań, the authorities decide to move the railway to a new location where the line would not conflict with main communication arteries. The railway, now renamed Maltanka was re-opened on 21 July 1972 in Malta. Since then it has been operated by Public Transport Company. In 1998 its name was changed to Maltańska Kolej Dziecięca (English: Maltan Children's railway), and again in 2002 to current name. The name Maltanka comes from the Knights of Malta, who used to own the land and the old church nearby.
