Vergara(18th century), it comes from the Cartuja de Porta Coeli.Doors of the high altarpieceMasterpiece of the 16th century (1506-1510), they kept a renaissance altarpiece made of silver, melted in 1812 in Majorca to make coins during the war against Napoleon Bonaparte. Painting in temper and oil on panel by Fernando de Los Llanos and Fernando Yáñez de la Almedina, imitating the style of Leonardo Da Vinci and other Italian renaissance authors.The exterior of the left door displays beautiful paintings (from the bottom): The Adoration of the Shepherd, The Adoration of the Magi and the Resurrection of Christ. Three magnificent paintings are on the right door: The Ascension of the Lord, The Arrival of the Holy Spirit and the death and the Assumption of the Virgin.The interior of the left door depicts the meeting of St. Joachim and St. Anne, parents of the Virgin Mary, her birth and her presentation in the temple.On the right is the Visitation of Mary to St. Elizabeth, the presentation of child Jesus in the temple and the flight into Egypt.The doors of the high altarpiece are a master work. They were finished in 1510 and kept an altarpiece made of silver.
