| 説明 | The Charter Tower, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire (Grade II* listed building and Scheduled Monument). A plaque states that Henry VIII gave Hemel Hempstead its first Royal Charter in 1539 and this, the Charter Tower, is a remnant of the second Bury, built by Richard Combe inthe late 16th century.GOC Hertfordshire's walk on 9 December 2017, an 8-mile circular walk in and around Hemel Hempstead, including Gadebridge Park, Piccotts End, Water End (Great Gaddesden), Fields End, Pouchen End, Winkwell, Boxmoor, Water Gardens and Old Town.
