Station: NSA Tan-My. HM3 Taran was on Med-cap, 12 miles north of Phu Bai, when going down path around curve from village, was hit by 2 rounds in left calf. He returned a couple rounds when he was a small kid firing at him. He was carried out by the rest of his squad. [Vietnam War; child soldiers]. |
