| 説明 | Slide Mountain (8,448 feet) gets its name from the huge landslides on its southeast slopes which have been occurring periodically for centuries. The last one was Memorial Day weekend in 1983 and it killed a guy.From the north (Reno) Slide Mountain looks like an inviting ski resort; but from the south, approaching from Carson City, you see these steep landslides hundreds of feet long. |
