| 説明 | On 25 October 2019, the Ministry of Environment and the Rwanda Green Fund (FONERWA) joined forces with One UN Rwanda for a special event to introduce the GCF Green Gicumbi project that will strengthen climate resilience of communities. The event, which took place alongside UN Day introduced the project and how it will benefit hundreds of thousands of Rwandans through:Watershed protection and climate resilient agricultureForest management and sustainable energyClimate resilient settlementsKnowledge development and transfer and mainstreamingThe project will also complement Rwanda’s efforts to become a climate resilient nation and achieve its international commitments under the Paris Agreement. |
