He was born in Viljandi Russia (as was, later Estonia) , and died in Bad Wilsnack, Germany. He was also responsible for the more famous Art Deco City Hall in Tallinn of 1932. The similarity with the Chile Haus in Hamburg, using the same coloured bricks and styling by Johann Friedrich (Fritz) Höger who also was responsible for the Garbáty-Zigarettenfabrik in Berlin-Pankow, |
