| 説明 | Per my buddy Roger Freedman who is much more knowledgeable than me about such things: this is a result of different layers of the atmosphere having different temperatures and hence different densities, and so refracting sunlight by different amounts (the demarcation between two such layers in the atmosphere can be seen in this photo). |
