説明 | The Gene Pool (named after a guy named Gene) at Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve is only about 2 feet deep this time of year. That splash on the surface is from a large fish that was trapped in the pool during the winter floods. This fish will eventually become a meal for one of the large raptors that live at or visit the Wetlands. In the far side of the Pool are 2 families of Canada Geese, Ma, Pa, and Gosslings. There are some ducks there too, cinnamon teals, I think. |
