| 説明 | The Garden Court is an interior courtyard in the National Gallery of Canada. When we paid our admission, we were told that photos were allowed in the "public" spaces of the gallery, but not the artwork spaces. Nevertheless, we got scolded by an uppity security guard for taking photos here. Apparently the courtyard isn't considered a public space, which seems rather dumb to me.It's rather ironic, then, that I saw a woman snapping photos of the infamous "Voice of Fire" painting in another part of the gallery, where photos were definitely not permitted. I didn't see any snippy guards telling her to stop! |
