| 説明 | The 71st annual Photography Salon was held at the Iowa State Fair. More than 1,500 photographers entered and 617 were chosen to have at least one photo displayed. I was honored to have won first place in the "Things & Still Life" category.This is just a simple triptych of the event with a shot of the crowd gathering in the courtyard of the State Fair's Cultural Center for the awards ceremony (bottom) and a couple of shots Mary took of me receiving my award from Charley Starnes, the superintendent of the photography salon (middle) and standing next to my winning entry (top).View Iowa Public Television's story on the photography salon here. |
