| 説明 | Both the asexual and sexual generation galls of Biorhiza pallida are found on Quercus robur and Quercus petraea. the sexual gall is the well- known "Oak Apple". The asexual generation gall forms on the roots of the trees just below the soil surface. This photograph also shows a species of Chalcidoidea - possibly Torymus affinis. A known parasitoid of Biorhiza pallida larvae. |
