| 説明 | one of the really neat things about where I live. there's planes all over the place.boeing, being the 800 lb gorilla, and all its followers and pretenders, mean that there literally are planes lying around all over the place.I was driving tonight, trying to get lost basically, and I ran across a set of three planes, sitting alongside a county road by a municipal airport.this one's a vought A7. it's always been my favorite plane, mostly because it just looks right to me. it's also contemporary to me, I guess, but I don't think that has anything to do with why I like it.the lines are right. it looks like what it is. it's simple and obviously and brutally powerful, with no pretense or what I see in a lot of newer planes as unnecessary posturing. this was probably one of the last planes designed by people, with intuition, rather than with CFD and computers.also: it has a cool name: corsair |
