| 説明 | A bottle of Oak Aged Un*Earthly from Southern Tier Brewing Company in Lakewood, New York, at Olympen in Oslo.The Oak Aged Un*Earthly is, as the name suggests, the oak-aged version of Un*Earthly, an 11% abv imperial IPA. It poured a clear golden amber color, with a thick, white head. Aroma was surprisingly sweet with some citrus hop notes. Mouthfeel was medium heavy with a mild carbonation and a warming sting from the alcohol. Flavor started out with caramel and a light vanilla note from the oak. The hops were mild, when they arrived, with a light bitterness that just barely stood up to the sweetness. Seems that the oak-aging removed more hops than sugar. Still, a fairly good imperial IPA though on the sweet side for my palate. |
