| 説明 | PYEONGTAEK CITY — Soldiers from the 6-52nd Air and Missile Defense Battalion participated in a cultural exchange program at the Cheongdam Art Center, as local Korean students put on performances ranging from traditional Korean Opera to contemporary Hip Hop Dance July 30. The experience, hosted by Pyeongtaek City Hall, was intended to facilitate cultural exchange and build friendships between U.S. Soldiers and Korean community. And, it succeeded in many ways, judging from the enthusiastic handshakes and warm conversation between the Soldiers and students afterward. Without a doubt, the performance reached its climax with the excellent hip-hop dance performed by a local student team. The American crowd went wild as the dancers executed one complex move after another.For other Soldiers, it was the genuine smile of the locals that impressed them the most.After the performance, Soldiers went to a local Korean restaurant for a meal of mushroom bulgogi and seasoned kimchi.U.S. Army photos by 1st Lt.
