| 説明 | Signage about the Fujimi-Yagura watch tower we just saw. (see previous picture). This is one of the three surviving watch towers of the erstwhile Edo castle of this these gardens are a part and which sadly does not stand today, save for a few disjointed bits and pieces scattered all around the district. The sign is fairly self explanatory when viewed in full screen mode so I will save you any further commentary and simply let you enjoy the picture. (Tokyo, Japan, Apr/ May 2019) |
