This is Strathnaver Museum on the north coast of Scotland at Bettyhill, is based in the former Parish Church of Columba and opened as a museum in 1976. Its main theme is the tragic story of the Highland Clearances, whilst there is a room dedicated to the local Clan Mackay and much else to tell the story of crofting life. This view is eastward across the graveyard. |
