説明 | At center is Liniclate at the west-facing southern end of Benbecula, which lies between North Uist and South Uist in the Western Isles or Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Also known as Linaclate or Liniclete, (Gael: Lionacleit aka Linaclate, Liniclete, Lionacleit), the town is 1.5 km northwest of Creagorry (Gael: Creag Ghoraidh). Both are marked on the map with notes. At the center of Liniclate is a hotel and a large secondary school that opened in 1988 and serves all of the southern islands. www.scottish-places.info/towns/townfirst8814.html, "The school incorporates community sporting facilities and a local authority museum, the Museum nan Eilean, which focuses on the social history of the islands south of Berneray."By other sources I have the bay as Loch Druidibeg, and Bourve Castle in here somewhere. |
