| 説明 | Velehrad, kostel sv. JanaAls die Apostel Method und Kyrill im Jahr 863 ins Großmährische Reich gelangten um dort die altslawische Kirchensprache zu begründen und die christliche Lehre zu verbreiten, befand sich bei Velehrad das Zentrum dieses Reiches. In der von Archäologen gefunden Kirche aus dem 10. Jhdt. sollen die beiden Apostel gepredigt haben. Daneben wurde in der Neuzeit eine Rekonstruktion errichtet, die eine Ahnung vom Aussehen der mittelalterlichen Kirche geben soll.When the apostles Cyril and Methodius in 863 came to the Great Moravian Empire to christianize the local Slavic people and translate the bilble into Church Slavonic language the centre of the Empire was close to Velehrad. In the church dating from 10th century from which the foundation was found the apostles are said to have preached. Besides a reconstruction was built in modern times, which is supposed to give an idea of the appearance of the medieval church. |
