| 説明 | Blue is locations where a taxi picked up a passenger (or at least turned on the meter). Red is locations where a taxi dropped off a passenger.On the small scale, you can see some patterns. At Caltrain, passengers are dropped off on 4th Street and picked up on Townsend. Several other institutions also seem to have standard drop-off points.On the larger scale, it is harder to see what is going on, except that there are few pick-up locations south of Cesar Chavez except along Mission. Almost everything visible seems to be blue pick-up locations, even though total pick-ups and drop-offs have to be balanced. I think people must mostly be picked up from major commercial streets, and aside from the few drop-offs at major institution, be dropped off at the diffuse locations of their homes.
