| 説明 | "November 24, 1942Dear Dad:Just a few lines to let you know I’m still in one piece and in good health. It seems ages since I last saw home, but this thing can’t go on forever.Things here are about the same. Impossible for me to say what goes on, but everything is all right.Had a letter from Mother dated October 8, but since then all mail has been on the negative side.Mother tells me that Aunt Etta is in very poor health. Very sorry to hear that as it probably puts an extra burden on Rich. She also tells me that all the soldiers on the home front are very anxious to be out here.
