| 説明 | I don’t have any good fireworks pictures for July 4, but here is a video of “EXPLODING CLOUDS”. It’s a time-lapse movie of the cloud stack that I recently posted. Keep in mind that this isn’t real in the visual sense. It’s not what you would see with your eyes. Here’s how I made it. I put the camera on the porch and set it to take one image per second for 2,000 seconds. I imported those images into my computer and used StarStaX to make 2,000 image files by repeatedly doing the following. First, take the first image and make it the output image. Then, for each of the remaining 1,999 images, sequentially compare it to the output image, replacing pixels in the current image that are brighter in the output image. Write this image to a file and make it the current output image. Do this until all images have been processed. This creates 2,000 files with images that show the time development of the brightest things in the sequence. Lastly, create a video from these output images.
