| 説明 | Monarda didyma 'Colrain Red' () 2019 photo - Common Name: Bee Balm, Size: 3ft., red, USDA Hardiness Zone 2, Michigan Bloom Month 7a-, In Garden Bed S3 for 2.1 YEARS (Blue). Planted in 2017.Mt. Cuba Center: Monarda ‘Colrain Red’ is one of the top-performing cultivars from the trial. It looks similar to both ‘Judith’s Fancy Fuchsia’ and ‘Raspberry Wine’. ‘Colrain Red’ is a relatively tall cultivar with a prolific floral display and fair powdery mildew resistance that typically consisted of mild, but long-lasting infections. The real complaint about this selection is the amount of lower foliage that it typically loses. However, the upper portion of ‘Colrain Red’ does remain full and lush so that it still appears dense when viewed from the top.Red, mildew resistant Monarda, not so tall at 36in.. Leaves of Monarda can be used to flavor teas. Aromatic foliage smells like mint when crushed. #Monarda #BeeBalmMy other photos of this plantSatellite View using Google Maps |
