| 説明 | The Cathedral at Meguelone was built on the remains of an earlier Gallo-Roman church on an island off the southern coast of France in the 11th century. It became the second-most important church in Christendom after Rome and during the 12th century was the seat of two Popes - Alexander III and Gelasius II. Today it is run by a charity that rehabilitates people with learning difficulties and hosts an annual music festival in the cavernous Romanesque nave. |
