| 説明 | Malta Grand Harbour, Shabab Oman IIShabab Oman II (English: Youth of Oman) is a full-rigged ship which entered into service with the Royal Navy of Oman in August 2014, replacing the current ship of the same name. She is a full-rigged ship which was built in Romania, fitted out in the Netherlands and launched in 2013.Shabab Oman II is an 87-metre long ship with a beam of 11 metres. She will be rigged as a full-rigged ship with a total of 2,700 square metres of sails.Shabab Oman II was designed by Dykstra Naval Architects, Amsterdam, Netherlands. Her keel was laid in March 2013. She was built by Damen Shipyards, Galaţi, Romania and launched on 2 December 2013. The IMO Number 9662715 was allocated. In January 2014, she was towed to Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding, Vlissingen, Netherlands for fitting out, including the fitting of her masts, the tallest of which measures 50 metres. She entered into service with the Royal Navy of Oman in August 2014.The 85-metre tall ship Shabab Oman II sailed into Malta's Grand Harbour to a gunfire salute from the saluting battery.
