| 説明 | An afternoon trip from Potters Bar to Kings Cross to pick up my Chinese Visa afforded an opportunity to record the changing face of the ECML into London. New Siemens Class 717 units starting to appear on the WGC service, Thameslink now more or less completely gone over to Class 700 and passing an Azuma departing KX. But in amongst that the 40+ year old HSTs still hold sway with both EMT and LNER units in sight and the lovingly-restored Inter City 225 "Electra" unit 91119 heading out on a York service. The EWS-liveried Class 90 is well past it's sell-by date and the DB Cargo Class 67 is still in basic Wrexham & Shropshire colours. Combined with an Andelante in Grand Central orange & black colours, the privatised railway certainly offers plenty of variety! |
