| 説明 | "Hardly enough to make the necessary preparations, but to further complicate matters I was in the hospital when the radiogram was received. Now there was nothing of a serious nature wrong with me, but after living for over a month in mud holes and jungles I was becoming obsessed with the thought of a dry, clean bed with some fairly decent meals. If you remember I have a very slight varococele of the left testicle so I betook myself to the Battalion doctor with a very impressive list of imaginary symptoms. The good doctor listened to my complains, examined the source of the trouble, and ticketed me to the Base Hospital for “immediate operation”."From the Edward L.
