| 説明 | This is the Parish Church of St Margaret in Olton. From the Warwick Road. It belongs to The Church of England, and is in the Diocese of Birmingham.Blue church door of St Margaret's.Construction began in 1880 and ended in 1896.It is in a triangle between the roads: Warwick Road, Old Warwick Road and St Margaret's Road.ST MARGARET, Warwick Road. Chancel by J. G. Bland (Bland & Cossins) 1879-80; the rest, aisled nave, transepts and vestry, by Benjamin Corser, 1895-6. Sw tower never built. Old-fashioned Dec in rock-faced sandstone. Ample interior; arcades with cir- cular columns and double-chamfered arches. Plain sW HALL of 1971-2, SW. - Corser, who worshipped here, was responsible for much in the way of decoration and FITTINGS, includ- ing the attractive naturalistic flower capitals, PULPIT and low SCREEN of 1898, alabaster REREDOS of 1901, CHOIR STALLS, 1904, alabaster FONT, 1913, and COVER, 1920.
