| 説明 | This is what a scorpion looks like under a black light. They luminescence with amazing contrast. My son Tony and I hunted them last night in Gilbert AZ and managed to send a few to the Promised Land. Spraying coupled with crushing using long handled grabbers complements the adventure of the hunt. Some of our Gilbert AZ neighbors like to torch them to death, but spraying and crushing somehow seems a bit more organic, quick and merciful. I am sure it is just as satisfying as hunting for a fox with hounds, albeit for a more suitable purpose.Safety and cleanliness demand riddance. With a black light at night scorpions stick out more than a Mormon Missionary at a Grateful dead concert. All scorpions fluoresce under ultraviolet light, such as an electric black light or natural moonlight. The blue-green glow comes from a substance found in the hyaline layer, a very thin but super tough coating in a part of the scorpion's exoskeleton called the cuticle. |
