| 説明 | Frozen Tuna at the famous tuna auctions at the Tsukiji Fish Market, Tokyo, Japan. You're technically supposed to get a pass to go see the fish auctions since they would otherwise be overcrowded with gawking photographers and tourists (ahem, such as myself). Even though I got to the fish market right before 5 a.m. all of the passes had already been given out, and I was S.O.L. I was kind of bummed out, but got over it as soon as I realized I could still see some of the auction action from the sidelines. I snapped a couple of pictures and a guard told me that I couldn't take pictures without a pass, even though I wasn't actually in the space where they were holding the auctions. Having already taken all the pictures I wanted to, I didn't put up a stink, and went back into the main market to take more pictures there. |
