| 説明 | It’s obvious that with such an evocative name as Mozart, getting a table here can be quite a challenge. That can also be down to the café’s prime location standing as it does right next to the Hotel Sacher and the state opera building. Graham Greene wrote the script for the classic movie ‘The Third Man’ here and even incorporated it into his story with a scene from the film ultimately being shot here. From the first glance, everything about the Café Mozart is evocative of ‘Old Vienna’; the classic Thonet chairs, the lacquered wood wall panelling, the polished mirrors behind the bar and the elegant wood partitions between the private booths. If that wasn’t enough to remind one of the timeless chic of former times, of course the coffee house is illuminated by glittering chandeliers. The overall effect is charming and welcoming and the fact that it’s also full adds a pleasant bustling energy to the place. The staff are polite and attentive, the menu is bursting with goodies with several dishes dedicated to the famous composer. You’ll also find a choice of around 15 different coffees to tempt your palette. |
