| 説明 | "April 17, 1941Dear Dad:It’s been a long time since my last letter and as usual I must plead lack of time, and writing facilities, for my failure to write before this. Things down here go on about the same. There have been some improvements, such as electric lights in the tents, but the food and bathing conditions remain about the same. The food, is anything, is worse and I am seriously wondering I that void, in the vicinity of the place where my stomach used to be, will ever be filled again.The food itself is bad enough, but when you have to eat it from one of those metal bed pans, that the service so naively calls a mess kit, well that contrivance could make"From the Edward L.
