| 説明 | "Last pay day I imagine the patrol office is swamped. By the way the Admiral is among those stranded, but I support he has enough pocket money to insure a full stomach. We had a rather unusual incident happen to the guard last week. Not only unusual but without precedent. On board ship there is a post known as the “big watch”. This watch, which is a twenty four hour watch, the sentry being relived every four hours, and whose duty is to see that none of the prisoners escape, injure themselves or make unnecessary noise.Last Tuesday the Marine who was standing the 12-4 watch, commonly known as the “killer watch” because it comes so early in the morning, got sleepy.
