And is called a Roving Bridge.Dated 1828 cast iron Horseley Ironworks roving bridge over the head of No 1Aston Lock giving access to Digbeth branch canal. Elliptical arch, cast in2 sections with bolted central clasping stanchions x pattern pierced balustradewith quatrefoil band below handrail. Bolted cast deck panels. Stone dressedbrick swept abutments. Roving Bridge At Aston Junction, On The Birmingham Fazeley Canal - Heritage GatewayNear Dartmouth Circus.The Digbeth Branch Canal goes right of here.
