| 説明 | ... this is a short cut I found around doing layers. I have the photoshopped image of a city street, simplified, so now I want to put a hint of cracked paint just under the surface of the entire image. My thinking is this will give a subliminal suggestion of deterioration of our urban infrastructure. One way would be a four step process copy one image, paste it over the other, adjust the opacity of the top layer and then flatten the two layers together. The short cut I found is simply put the pattern you want in the primary color selection place, then use the bucket tool to dump that pattern (cracked paint in this case) over the street scene at 40% opacity, no flattening needed. In PaintShopPro5's color section you can put colors, gradients AND PATTERNS into the primary and secondary color boxes. A regular click will empty the choice onto another image and a right click will empty the secondary color onto an image, AFTER you've adjusted the opacity to 40%. Now you'll have more time for coffee. |
