| 説明 | "All night liberty but cargo operations curtailed leave during the day.Yesterday I went out to Old Panama City with Sgt. Lewis. He’s stationed here at the present time and has recently acquired an automobile. As you know Old Panama City was sacked and burned by Morgan in 1671 but the Panamanian Government is leading the jungles away from the ruins and evidently intend to make it into some sort of a park.Judging from the ruing that remain Panama City was quite a good sized place. The plains of Panama, where the Spanish stampeded a herd of wild cattle in an effort to disperse the buccaneers, but incidently furnished them with their first food in over a month, are easily discernable, but no one, that we questioned, seemed to know of the location of the Citidel where Morgan forced the nuns, from the Convent of St. Dominic, to carry"From the Edward L.
