| 説明 | "On the Pennsylvania, the sort of things they cover up with canvas whenever she comes into port, but unless they give me a square mea in the near future I’m going to sell them to the Japanese for the price of a plate of ham and eggs. They have a device for picking up sea planes while the ship is traveling at full speed. It is comparatively simple and unless the Japs already know about it I should be able to sell the plans for the price of a hamburger. The 25 caliber anti aircraft gun, while it is nowhere nearly as efficient as the German Skolda, coupled with a few intimate notes in regard to our catapulting process should round out the price to a dollar “Blue Plate”.Well that’s all for the present. My newest address is:Pvt E.L. ParkeMarine DetachmentUSS Pennsylvaniac/o Postmaster, San Pedro, CaliforniaMy aspirations towards a commission are, I think, definitely out. Ed."From the Edward L.
