| 説明 | Here's the guy who started feeding the parrots at Ferry Park in February 2006. I think the daily parrot feedings are a heck of a lot of fun but probably not such a good idea. It looks like he and some of the other people who feed the parrots are reaching this conclusion as well. I found out that they have a Yahoo group called Wild Parrot Feeders and that the San Francisco board of supervisors is considering banning the feedings. Here's a post explaining why (hint: rats, disease, its not good for the birds). Here's a poem about it. He obviously loves the birds a lot but seems to feel the whole thing has gotten a bit out of hand. I think this message is by him. |
