| 説明 | When I was diagnosed with Type 1 ( juvenile) diabetes in 2006 my life shifted significantly. Not only did I have to pay attention to what I ate but I also had to be aware of how my body reacted to food. It was a little overwhelming learning to count carbohydrates, calculate correct insulin dosage, and remember to always have supplies on hand. Like any good geek I went online to seek help. I found the tudiabetes.com web site and became member number 22. I found a home on tudiabetes.com. Friendly people who were willing to hold my hand through the rough spots with hypoglycemia and dietary advice. Four years after joining the social network that Manny created the TuDiabetes.com network has over 10,000 members. I found my community. -- Khürt Williams |
