| 説明 | Shots from The Parterre outside Blickling Hall.I got to a section of The Parterre wondering what this thing with roman numerals and letters was. Turns out it is a sun dial. The way it works is, that you step on the letter corresponding to the current month.When we were there it was April, so you count J F M A ... and step on the A. The time was just after or around 3pm, so my shadow hit the III.I thought it read JASON D (still hadn't figured it out yet). Bottom line is JFMAMJ.Now I now. The A for April is on the bottom line, upside down. |
