| 説明 | Firstie Nick Reisweber, a civil engineer major, explains the railing bridge design for the Statue of Liberty Casualty Evacuation Device to members of the local media. Eight cadets from the Class of 2010 visited the Statue of Liberty on May 5 for the demonstration of their Capstone Project. The civil and mechanical engineer majors spent the better part of a year designing and building a rescue device for the National Park Service which utilizes the outer railing of the statue's staircase and rides down at a constant speed, dampened by a modified personal escape rope system.
