| 説明 | Mom got these pics of the oddity onto which we stumbled. Better than most of the news pics. The time tells you it was 17 minutes after the event. We arrived ~6:45 after dinner, escorting parents to their hotel, and thought it was a manhole explosion or paranoia. They didn't close off the area for some time, and the FDNY command car sat down the block for a bit till they figured out it was serious. Lotsa tourists got close, but when we heard a vendor describing the incedent, we decided to leave. |
