| 説明 | "director of the two starboard guns. My work consists of spotting the hits, if any, of the guns, computing ranges and passing the word to the sight setters via the JQI phones. It wouldn’t be a bad job if some of the damned officers would stay from underfoot. They don’t know a hell of a lot and they do get in the way. The whole trouble with this Navy is that to my mind they have too many men doing too little work. The Marines fared no better, infact they probably fared worse, than the rest of the guns, and on a whole the entire thing was rather disappointing. Our armament consists of four turrets mounting twelve fourteen inch guns, a secondary battery"From the Edward L.
