I saw what looked like a pub sign, but it turns out that it is now a handmade furniture shop.If it looks like a pub, thats because it was a pub called the White Lion Public House.It is a Grade II listed building.C18 and later. Brick and flint, partly rendered. Colourwashed. Black-glazed pantileroof, hipped at S. end. Two storeys and attic. Casements. Plastered and mouldedbrick string course. Brick rustication to ground floor window openings. Coped andparapetted gable with chimney stack to N.Two storey wing to E rendered and colourwashed. Pantile roof, hipped at W. gabled atE. Brick dentil eaves. Sashes with glazing bars. Simple doorcase and part-glazed6-panelled door.Brick, flint and pantile stable block to E.
